ECOTY (Evo Magazine Car of the Year) Winners

I've been trying to find out the past winners of ECOTY.

Having searched the forums and Googled can't find anything. + Their site doesn't have any reference at all which is strange. So, I thought it was time to create an archive.
At the moment I'm miles away from all the old magazines that I seem to accumulate, so I wanted to pick your Brains as I can't even remember for sure who was the winner of the last title.
(I went to Uni in Newcastle.. I'm living proof that alcohol kills braincells

Please feel Free to correct the list below, I'm going to Edit this post as the list gets amended by you guys.

Perhaps EVO Trackday COTY and 1990's PCOTY (Performance car magazine) winners could be added too?

    ECOTY

    1999 – Porsche 911 GT3
    2000 – Porsche 911 Turbo
    2001 - Pagani Zonda
    2002 – Honda NSX Type R
    2003 – Porsche 911 GT3 (S2)
    2004 – Porsche 911 (997) CarreraS

EVO car of the decade - Ferrari 550

Any favorites for this years title?
I'm thinking the AM V8 Vantage will be up there, the new Audi RS4 will probably be included. Sounds like they like the Range Sport so they'll most probably include that as a Wild Card.
Don't think Porsche has a brand new car unless the Cayman makes an appearance in time?

Way, way back I remember Clarkson made it his 'best handling car' in a video test at Mallory with fellow judges Tim Harvey and a very young Richard Burns
Think the fact that you could now pick one up for almost £100,000 less than their new price helped it scoop the ECOTD accolade.

Whod have thought it- the Ford GT?
I thought the M5 had a great chance but wasnt even there in the end, they chose to take the £20,000 more expensive, yet mechanically identical, M6 instead which isnt going to win anything because of its stupid price.
    No RS4 either, another mistake.

    Here are the Performance car of the year winners (pre-Evo);

    1990 : Audi Quattro 20v Turbo
    1991 : Honda NSX
    1992 : BMW M5
    1993 : Porsche 968 Club Sport
    1994 : Honda NSX (facelift)
    1995 : Porsche 993 Turbo
    1996 : Lotus Elise
    1997 : Ferrari 360 Modena
    1998 : Porsche 996 Carrera
1999 : Cant remember (only PCOTY issue i dont have)

    Interesting Evo Winners

I own the only original surviving Caterham R500 evo. It is the factory Rizla Suzuki car. I have kept the car very close to how it was in 2004 and 2005 when it was used by the factory for demonstration and performance tests. I have other cars of this sort of nature but this one takes the cake. I have it slightly up-tuned to about 268hp and I have removed a little weight, so it is about 580 bhp/ton. I have a few ideas to edge it up a little more.

A few interesting facts about it. On track days, with road tyres and windscreen, it keeps pace with the cars on slicks and no windscreen etc. On the road, the 30 - 60 time of about a second leaves other drives open-mouthed.

I use it as a commute car and it very tractable, and a very good advertisement for the Dratford crew. It is sort of funny watching it make mincemeat out of top-end Porshes etc. They sometimes can't resist a try at the traffic lights.
