Because we have UCP and they don't!

I echo Taz's words though. And I also support yours. Meaning I believe in them, but don't think they would visit just right now. Remember all those flying saucers that people thaught were aliens? Remember they turned out to be made by the US Militay flying over Area-51?

And besides, if they really were that advanced, people have been reporting seeing them for years. Why would they come all the way here and then not abduct Bush? (Sorry, couldn't resist )

    Holiday? Don't think so.....

Maybe it was just some star formation something, I dunno. Either that of definetly the US Military.

If there was an alien life form it'd most likely be in a form completely opposite of ours.

True, scientists in denial are always saying 'But no! How can they exist! They don't have oxygen! And they don't have water!'

Maybe they live off something different to us. Why is that so hard to understand for some people?

It's hard to understand because there is no concrete evidence of extra-terrestrial life.

That would make it a religion; believing without concrete evidence.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

and there is no concrete evidence that there is NOT no extra-terrestrial life
however, they can live so far away from us that we won't be able to see each other, ever.

    slightly OT, someone mention meteors...
space junk can also enter the atmosphere and burn up strangely. different metals burn colors. copper will burn light green and is even visible during the day.

    back on topic...
theres is a big difference in believing in UFOs and believing in extra-terrestrial life. with the billions of other planets theres more-than-probably other life but i dont trust all the stories of "probing".

I am a believer, not one of those weirdo nuts but I definetly feel the government is either hiding something about new planes/weapons or there is some definete other life forms out there that we are blind to. Or both.

Even if they come to Earth, the oxygen would probably kill them, because it's flamable. I have recently watched a 'show' (don't know the word) on Discovery Channel about aging. It said that the main reason for aging is breating oxygen. Thank god we are adapted to it as much as we are!

the body is basically rusting, its not just the breathing of the oxygen its chemical reactions that happen inside which create byproducts and effects that cause aging.

I believe there is a burger in N America but I can't prove it...
Does that make it a religion?
