Thank you! He's not very fun-loving, whoever he is.
I can now play all of Time on my guitar, I broke the bottom string playing the solo

how old are they cuz I dont really listen to a lot of older music. I listen to the beatles, nirvana and thats it. My fav group is Linkin Park, then Lifehouse, Our Lady Peace, Staind and I listen to a lot of hip hop, electronica and other stuff.

Well, to each his own I guess, but I would say that mainstream music hit it's peak in the 60's/early 70's.

Holy &$*@ing $^#%. I can't believe it, that's so ridiculously awesome.
Hopefully they will enjoy being superstars again and play a new world tour.
They need to reunite for more than just Live 8, although that is a fantastic cause. WORLD REUNION TOUR please!! I would totally try to go but it would probably be way more expensive than even Stones tickets.
YES!!!!! This is so awesome that Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters have put aside their differences and have gotten together for this great event! I cxan only hope that double LP and DVD follow suit of this show! Because let's just admit it-Pulse was only half of what it could've been if Gilmour didn't handle all the vocals (he ruined 'Breathe!)
If they come out with a world tour I'll piss my pants.
And, even though he played 'Pink,' why is Bob Geldof doing this, too? He doesn't even like Pink Floyd!
BTW-Does anyone know where I can find ALL of Gerald Scarfe's aniations? Only a few of what he did made it to 'the Wall' movie, he did a number for the live shows, and did some for Wish You Were Here and Animals. I would kill for those.

Turn the commentary on if you have the Wall on DVD. Scarfge mentions how he got inspiration from his earlier work, and if you have 'Is There Anybody Out There' you can see a whole boatload of new ones, including what appears to be one for 'Another Brick In The Wall, PT. 2.'
