The newer model Hyundai's offer the best bang-for-the buck, with a car like the Sonata. The Elantra/Accent are shit though. If you pick up a one to two year old Sonata, you'd be doing yourself a favor, and the warrantee is second-to-none.

True, I can care less about Consumer Reports though, although their ratings are unbiased and directed well towards the average car buyer.

Most people that put down Hyundai's are blinded by propoganda, unless they've driven an Accent/Elantra, which can be a bit shitty. (Thinking along the lines of a car like the Kia Rio.)
