Duesenberg, they are even Jay Leno's favorite cars (the model J and SJ)

Should Comcast, which is buying NBC, have more motorsports coverage on VERSUS and now NBC? Does North America need a racing tv channel? Find the answer to that exact question on facebook.

Without a doubt! Vettes and Stangs captured their massive audiences in a scale that very few vehicles have ever done. And they continue to push the limits of what can be had by the average, working American.

There are few muscle cars that really rev my motor too, but for me the '63-'67 Vette is my absolute favorite.

Gotta go with the classic Caddies...V16's from '29-'31, with concurrent V12 and V8 lines. The '49 Cadillac's fins, styled by Harley Earl after the P-38 fighter-bomber's tailfins, set the trend for the 50's obsession with them. The '58 Cadillac is IMHO one of the most classily styled automobiles in all of motordom, and who could forget the '59's. Cadillac was the first with electric starters and lights, automatic climate control, among the first with synchromesh and automatic transmissions, and mass-production V8's. And while Henry Ford brought us the production line, it was Henry Leland's Cadillac that actually brought us fully interchangeable parts...

I have some nice musclecars in my toybox...1987 Buick GNX...1973 Stingray...1966 Big Block 390 CI Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible. But...my favorite car ever is my 2004 Cadillac Deville with the Northstar. We always were WAY ahead in the industry...but this car proves it. The finest value car in the World for the money if you have to go places.

Can a product from any other country do what this car can for the money?

I recently discovered the 1st generation Pontiac Tempest (1961-1963). Quite a remarkable car. Monocoque chasis, front engined rear wheel drive with a transaxle layout, four wheel independent suspension and an all aluminium V8.

Don't forget the flexible 'rope' driveshaft and swing axles or that huge 3.7 litre slant-4 - literally a half-serve of the 389 V8

    GM at its most creative
