your iTunes library

i was talking with a friend who is going to college this fall and we got talking about music and i mentioned something about the computer he ordered, with it he got an iPod, 20gig, for half off. he is a real music nutt, so i asked if he would be able to fit all his music onto his iPod....he wasnt sure.

later that night we were talking on instant messenger and and he said he wouldnt be able to fit ALL of his music onto his iPod, he said that he could fit his entire iTunes library on it, but that he had quite a bit of music that wasnt on there. but anyway, he had, at that time, 9400 songs, like 12 days, and some 19.8gigs

i have been slowly increasing my library since febuary, but after this little conversation, i realized that i need to start building my library so i wouldnt have a major push when i get mine. i am currently up to 523 songs, 1.2 days, 1.67gigs

i was just wondering how large yous guys' stock is

please, if you have iTunes, post you library stats

Currently Storing 1345 Songs on 4.89 Gb.

MeinPod has 8.09Gb Worth of stuff (Including Pictures and Documents) but the same number of songs.

Oh, and BTW, I have a 40Gb iPod.

Not in iTunes, but 100Gb drive already full and already backed up my Matra and Alpine collection to DVD ( new drive for server on order )

Mix is about
25% music,
40% car pics and vids and
30% favourite TV shows and films - you can NEVER watch the original Italian Job too many times and Will&Grace in ogg for daughter !!

( The other 5% is either my poor math or porn )

EDIT: just been pointed out that was only MY server space. The kids music and vids is about the same again (she said) spread across the machines. Hmm, I wonder if the copyright lawyers know about their download rate
