i c. so far, the only bad complaints i've seen are the tricky mesh and the fact that the rear decklid won't open to reveal engine when there is a full engine(it opens on tamiya's, but the revell is considerbly cheaper, they say)Originally Posted by henk4
the Tamiya lid opens, but also the window shows already a lot of the engine when the lid is closed. You will only need mesh for the engine air intakes, and may be you have some nylon Tamiya stuff lying around ( I do if needed )Originally Posted by carsnut

on revell's Ferrari kits, the mesh is tricky to cut(have to play around with the templates(which you have to trace) otherwise there isn't enough mesh) and the tricky mesh part is for the engine lid's window. most say just paint it matt black or somethingOriginally Posted by henk4
the engine lid comes as a solid part in the Tamiya kit, with a sort of "meshy" detail.Originally Posted by carsnut
