Guys, I'm not sure how much longer I'll run this comp, I'm thinking Voting for Week 45 may be my last edition.

i'm usually quite critical when considering who to vote for in these comps, so it was interesting that I came to vote for Cotterik. the other entries were all worthy, and i wouldn't usually choose a seamingly simple light-streaking night shot. HOWEVER, this shot deserves credit. it may not have been the skills of the photographer alone, but maybe some luck as well. nonetheless, the transition of yellow to red light is very cool, as well as the highlighting of the grass, but what i noticed just today, after seeing the pic for a few days now, is that the light lines are perfectly straight. the whole likelihood of having a completely smooth road for that stretch, and caught on film (ccd pixels) is what sealed my vote.

I totally agree, it was a hard choise, but the shot was just so perfect.

i guess the consideration has to be that, there was a car running through his pic, and technically there is a car still in it, just extremely streaked and therefore transparent.

    Had to go with UCR.

You have to consider how difficult is to get a shot like this unless you are a F1 magazine photographer (or similar). Not so difficult if it was 04 or before car, but '05... good job!
