I don't understand what you are trying to say here?
I supose you might mean, we don't need the Top Gear lap times because of these ones. Well, the ones listed are not exactly everyday STOCK cars. The whole point of the Top Gear times are to show people how the more regular sports cars can perform against each other, from the dealership.

There are stock cars on the list. I've just always wanted to know how tuner performance compares to factory supercars.
Tuner perfomance will always be better than factory supercars. These companies have to develop a car that will pass a strict Single Vehicle Approval test, which limits them as to what they can do, noise, sharp edges, crash safty etc. Once it has passed that test you can do so much to the car, aslong as it stays road legal. You can put it on the limit of being legal.

A Nissan Primera three seconds a lap faster than a Mclaren F1?
*shakes head in despair profusely*
Didn't look that far down. I now don't believe the chart.

It's Tsukuba. Tsukuba is tiny. I would trust standings from Nurburgring a million years than before Tsukuba.

We all do.
"The thunder of 1001bhp would send a sonic boom through his carbon fibre shell, crack it in half and leave a wet puddle on the fancy leather seat."
Thats mostly tuned cars. The Top Gear times are as useful as whatever other ones there are as its useful way to compare the performace of a car, as they are all drivern by the same driver round the same track. Are all those times recorded by the same driver?
Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death...
