Nevermind the horsepower, it's the wonderful soundtrack from the five-pot that does the trick for me.

I'd rather have a Kappa Coupe with that engine though.

You had your chance, however, you prefered a tractor from Bavaria. Enough said.

    Damn you...

And the other day I saw an '88 Alfa Romeo 75 America advertised for 3500€.

    Fiat Punto HGT

Small, light weight, sporty interior, comes with a boom box (bass), sunroof, 1.8 liter punchy engine with 5 speed manual.

Easily my kind of desired hot hatch. Parked alongside Golf GTi, the HGT feels every bit like a proper hot hatch. Thou Golf looks nice as well, goes faster and handles better, this HGT is every bit more raw, fun and like I said, a proper hot hatch.

Isn't that a rather steep price for those cars, even a good one?

Of favorite Fiats seen & driven, I once had a 2300 station wagon which was an excellent car. Earlier Fiats like these were real quality items and of course great to drive too. For regular models the 1500 MkIII is another personal favorite and enjoyed a good reputation here
