So, if Kimi Raikkonen doesn't score at least five more points than Alonso this weekend, then the championship crown will be on its way to the little town of Oviedo in Spain. Basically that means if Alonso gets on the podium here it'll all be over, and Renault seem to be going for glory. They've been pretty conservative in terms of upgrades in recent months, but they've brought a LOT of updates to Brazil and are certainly much closer to the coattails of the McLarens if practice times are anything to go by. They clearly don't want to win the title by picking up minor points paying places.
Sadly in the UK the qualifying is not on terrestrial TV due to it interfering with Saturday night prime-time TV, so a lot of people won't get to see it. Thankfully my parents have digital so I'm blagging free TV and internet there at the moment!
The conditions are nice and warm and dry, and looked perfect for some good laptimes. Interlagos' notorious inclement weather doesn't look like it's gonna be a wildcard factor.
