    Any french here?

Just wandering if anyone here is French, or at least can speak it? Been having majour trouble with my french and can't really find anyone to help me do it (that includes teacher)? Just need to know a few simple phases of french?

you think you've got it bad?
I did French for 5 years and German for 3. I had the same teacher for both for the final two years. 7 lessons a week with a guy who looked like Harold Shipman (google him) and was called Workman...the similarities are worrying.
Considering there were 8 lessons a day, 7 a week with the same one was nearly the equivalent of a whole day with him..
    Do I win?

I speak Spanish, so when I tried to learn French I kept speaking French with a god-awful accent and mixing up words and conjugations that are similar. I eventually gave up. I can read and understand most of it, but will likely never speak it.

same, When it comes to tests, i can get a 1 in the writing, but can get a 4 for speaking

The UK system might be different - 1 is the best, anything from 5-9 is crap.
