As always, the clearest shot seems to be winning.

I can't believe Johnny only got 2 votes so far.

After this one I won't be entering any comp again. It's worthless...

EDIT: unless I find a an F430 parked somewhere...

I quit entering a long time ago. Your picture owns every other picture in this comp IMO and required skill to shoot. While others may not be bad the winning photo in this case while not a bad phot appears to just be a simple point and shoot and is winning based on the quality of the picture which isn't fair cause not everyone can afford 8 mp cameras. For example mine is only a 4.3 mp point and shoot, no changeable lenses or manual focus whatsoever, but i rarely submitted anything i didn't take my time with unless i had nothing else to enter because my photos exceeded the IMO stupid 2 month rule.

    Just my 2 cents.

I think the point isn't even the quality of the photo or camera. I took the photo with a 500€ 5mp camera. It's not cheap, but not a fancy camera either. Question is (and don't take this personally carrera_GTcrazy, because it's not your fault that someone chose your pic) but anyone with a 150€ camera with no experience at all, could take that photo. The backround is nice and the car is beautiful. That's what will make it win. Allthough we discussed this a thousand times antried to make people get sensitive about the skills or imagination it's shot takes, it just does't work.
I will start to make more threads with all the photos I take every weekend for my site, but no more comps for me.
At least I have the pleasure of living the comp while being in third place!

I can't seriously believe that johnnynumfive and mcreis got less votes than CGT, who, although has a nice car in his picture, has absolutely no photographic value whatsoever. I think I can say that this comp has become disgustingly biased to those with the 'pimped ride' in their picture.
I have to comment on Speedracer38's-your pic looks like something from Top Gear.

i wouldve voted for McReis if it was zoomed in more on the car like johnnynumfiv's. I love CGTs shot because the leaves on the ground add a nice effect to the picture so johnnys pic had runner up IMO.

McReis, I have not recently noticed this. Its been going on since comp #1. People Vote for the car. NOT the picture. I use a reguler 4MP HP camera, nothing special. I defently agree with your picture beening much better then mine! Perfect panning shot! But a bit to small on the picture, if it was zoomed in a bit more then the picture would have looked much better! All These compations are pointless. I remmeber a while ago someone entered a picture of a firetruck which was COMPLEtely blurry and people voted for it. This has turned into post the coolest car comp.

Don't get me wrong, though, Werty, it's a great pic. Just a bunch of also great competition.

thats very true, i didnt expect to even get 3rd, but no votes is kinda harsh

the pictures that usually win are pics with entire cars in them and not close ups, i decided to go opposite this week

Why haven't you voted for Racingmaniac's perfect shot, then?

that shot is perfectly zoomed in, too close and you loose the sense of space fo the track. It is certainly a much better shot than an ordinary Modena Challenge at the back of a shed in front of a dustbin.
