the other pics there are much better. the lower res ones here do not flatter the shape at all. i like the high front 3/4 view the best from the bunch released

Oy, please let's not go into bangled cars either. :shudder: Although, I still don't know how the Z4 coupe managed to survive relatively unbangled.

I am sure if it is put into production the design will change, like with all cars

So much for a celebration of 50 years of design. It looks complete and utter rubbish to me - much, much worse than a 612 - which I think is the ugliest Ferrari of all time.
On a Good day, Chris Bangle designs the Fiat Coupe.
On a Bad day, he designs a BMW.

    michalak ferrari consico?
    456 venice spyder?
    512 s?
288 GTO wasn't too beatifull as well

there were many a lot uglier ferraris

i do even like it a bit... but i assume it's too elegant and sophisticated to be understood by me(and unfortunately most of the people here)

    I don't reckon so.

PS: The 288 GTO is exquisite to me.

it can be radical, aggresive and so on but you'll never call it elegant either good-looking
people like the way it looks just because it's so brutal and scary

Nope, but IMO of course, the 612 is neither elegant nor aggresive.

can't agree with you once more
imo 612 is both elegant and sporty and it's one of the better looking cars in last ten years. i loved 456 but 612 is even better. that guy from japan from pininfarina (i don't remember his name right now) is making a really good job

I guess we have seriously different opinions. You don't happen to hate recent BMW designs do you?

it's hard to say whether i like them or not
3 series for instance - i don't like the design of it and i wouldn't buy it, but it looks just as it should look - smart, not too aggressive, just like a man in the suit and a tie

i don't have anything against current bmws

Its a gift. Ferrari had nothing to do with it except build the 612 Scaglietti design under that work.

BTW, I'm different, and I LIKE it. And I don't give 2 sh*ts if you think I have bad taste. I like pretty much all cars excluding anything before 1950.
