oh and i voted nsx, not normal one but the NSX S-ZERO.
Japan Only. Racing prepped car. Features: No air conditioning or audio wiring. Harder suspension than normal but softer than the Type-R. Carbon-fiber Recaro seats. Another 50kg lighter than the Type-S , BBS alloy wheels, mesh engine bay cover. 9.857 million yen (about $81,000). No cruise control, stereo, power door locks, airbags, air conditioning, traction control, power steering, fog lights or navigation system. Honda has come up with a new lightweight lead-acid battery and halved the thickness of the partition glass between engine bay and cabin.

prices vary in different continents, making the comparison sometimes a bit odd.Originally Posted by The_Canuck

I would pick the Noble M400 or the Light Car Company Rocket. The Rocket only has 1 seat, has a motorcycle engine, weighs less than 1000 pounds and can go 101mph in reverse.

Most motorbike engined cars can go almost as fast in reverse as they can forward because they have a seperate reverse box after the gear box. This results in having 6 forward and 6 reverse gears.Originally Posted by aNOBLEman

but you cant buy one in the states, and you can buy a caterham. so for the ones i could buy, the caterham would be it.
Honor. Courage. Commitment. Etcetera.
The shelby cobra 289 FIA, the Corvette in any iteration, the mclaren F1 GTR, the Ford GT40 MkII, III, and IV, the jag D type, the Ferrari GTO's, the Porsche 917K, the Dauer 962, lingenfelter vettes and hennesy/heffner vipers. I know some are over 100k but I couldn't think of that many under 100k.

OBSESSED is a word the lazy use to describe the DEDICATED!
I'd say the Mazda MX-5. There are others cars on that list that I would rather take over a MX-5, like say the Porsche or the Elise. But the MX-5 defines sportscar to me. It's inexpenive and simple, just like a sportscar should be. It has the looks needed for it to become a popular car. And because of it's simplicity, looks and low price it was one of best selling sportscars of all time.

Definately. The NSX is a great sports car, but nothing beats the Type-S Zero, the ultimate NSX.Originally Posted by The_Canuck
