1962 - GAZ-23 (1962-1970, 603 cars was produced), special version for KGB was released with 160hp V8
1962 - the third generation of GAZ-21 - GAZ-21L (as for me it's a most beautiful version of Volga).
GAZ-22 - the station wagon version
GAZ-22B - ambulance version
GAZ-21M, GAZ-22G - special versions for export (there was versions wis Perkins (1.6), Rover (2.3) or Indenor (2.0) diesel engines, as option - 4-speed gearbox Peugeot)
1965 - the last modification of Volga - GAZ-21R.
GAZ-21T - taxi version
GAZ-22V - the station wagon version
GAZ-22D - ambulance version
GAZ-21US, GAZ-21S - the top models, mostly for export
1968 - the first specimens of a new GAZ-24 was released
June 15, 1970 - the last GAZ-21 was produced (model GAZ-21US, body number 334312, black)
It was an end of the age, the epoh of the really great car. Now this car is a dream. In my town are greater then 10 cars, all they in good condition.
Total produced 1956-1970: 638875 cars of GAZ-21 and GAZ-22 models.
