    I just draw them in, I'm sure there is some kind of stupid feature in Photoshop that will do it for you.

    I just grab the rectangular marquee tool and select the whole image. Then, using the same rectangular marquee tool, I hold alt (which deletes portions of a pre-defined marquee) and select an area/box a bit smaller than the original, creating a thin border.

    Sounds a lot more complicated than it is.

    Or, you can just take the easy way out and use the line tool set to a width of like 5 pixels or something.
