Thank-you, and a fair point. I just thought that in the pic without the border (I have both versions saved now), the orangey colours (you'll have to excuse me, I'm colourblind to a degree) seemed even brighter when they were right up against the forum colours.

I can see that the border defines the Oranges etc. though, so IMO both versions have their qualities. One thing's for sure though - there's plenty more quality TVR avatars where that one came from...

Oh, it's a shame that editing quotes is forbidden...

I'd give that a 9/10 - Nice but it somehow looks a bit empty...

OK, but can we have reasons please?

407 range = Just about everything that's wrong with new car design (bloated, big wheel culture, huge overhangs, weight and visibility). The big mouth isn't bad on the 107 (it lends the design a cheeky character); whereas on the 407 it looks like an abyss. The huge grille and bloated, disproportionate body may lead you to think the estate'll have a big boot, however said disproportions mean that the 'SW' isn't even as useful as a Fiat Croma / Renault Vel Satis / Vauxhall Signum.

It's a nicely taken, cropped and bordered photo in a sufficient resolution though (as always chosen / taken by you Piacki) but you can't polish a turd.
