That doesn't look very Ferrari at all...

Quite a strange idea - to fit Ferrari with an Abbott body. Abbott was best known for tourer bodies for cars like Healey or Bristol. Nothing sporty at all. In addition this particular body is simply ill-proportioned. The excessive rear overhang paired with almost nonexistent front overhang looks simply stupid.
Nevertheless, it's always interesting to see such a car. Another forgotten bit of automotive history.
It's not denial. I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Don't even know whether it was right decision to rebuild it - IMO it should have been remained, just as a piece of Ferrari's history.

you may also want to check out the history of 0183....(shown at Villa Erbe this year) apparently Barchetta bodies seem to be more valuable in today's market, but the car becomes a travestite.

I agree, this car would be better off with its original coachwork. There are plenty of genuine Touring Barchettas left. The Abbott was a completely unique machine.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.
