Well, Dave Ash said himself that no one ever designs a car alone.

i'm not the one who claimed it as American

Recognising it's heritage is as important as claiming it for some corporate ego reason !!!!

We're building one. Using an 04 z06 with 3k miles as a donor. Need your guy's help on what color though... this gtm really makes me want to use black but honestly... how origional is that?

Anyways I'll be sure to snap some pics and put em in here when we're done.

    edit:

Also, there will probably be minor fabrication as far as getting the interior the way you want it but honestly FFR has done ALL of the engineering work for you. It's only slightly more difficult than a big lego set with instructions. That said I'm not going to even attempt any body work, thats all getting "outsourced"

    Nice choice there.
I'm biased and would do all cars in Alpine Blue -- many manufacturers are now doing similar colours so it need not be as difficult or as expensive as pukka Alpine paint.
It's a bright, strong metallic blue.
I think it woudl look good with "normal" alloys.
HAve a look around and see what you think/
Are you doing anything to individualise it internally or bodywork-wise ?
