    Auto trans?paddel shifter

Looking for information about a paddel shifter to install on my car. I have an automatic transaxle for a mid engined 600 HP SBC with a Corvair body. It apperas as though i have unknowingly copied the Player Corvair that opperated in Austrailia from 75 to 79. The car is now missing however it was so dominating that well that's the way it should have been if Chev had just not put up with Nader, it seams that lies always get head lines , so the Ultimate Hot Rod of All Times is once again comeing back to life. See V8Vairs for more details.

I just need to know who and where to contact some one about the paddle shifter. prefure a kit to fit an automatic tansmission. Any one know of shuch a contact

Where would you get more driving pleasure - a paddle shift or true manual?

That would depend on how good the paddle shift is.

Paddle shifted transmitions aren't real automatics. They're basicaly manuals with no foot opperated clutch and paddles for shifting. I didn't know of anyone that makes a kit. It'll be interesting to find out if they do make one. Welcome to UCP.

Depends, for example cars like the GrandPrix have optional paddle shifters, but its still a true auto (with PRND) and a torque converter.

If its a auto and you want a paddle shift you need to look at the 'box Aston is using in DB9. I think its from ZF.
