    That front wing looks McLaren"ish"...

Edit: And the sponsors are not going to be very happy seeing this photos without their logos. F1 teams are turning lazy... first BMW then...

It looks good, you have to worry when the Ferrari has weird stuff hanging off it!

On a different note, and possibly a slightly picky one, if you're going to quote websites please credit them. I know some of the journalists who write that and you should really credit Crash.net. Just as a random example.

did you see the winglet that sticks out the front upright/brake duct fairing thing?

Interesting. Those don't seem very sculpted though and might not serve a real aerodynamic purpose.
If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

simply to clear up the airflow, theyere not allowed to generate any downforce.
    they're not new either

I could tell last year was going to be a "bad year" for Ferrari, because they didn't have any studio shots of the F2005... They have had, for as long as I can remember... Hopefully when the new car launches, it'll have studio shots on the media site too, indicating a good year to come...

That can't be right - those bit aren't allowed to produce downforce. They can be 'aerodynamically efficient', but not contribute to grip directly.

(GMM) Breaking the recent five-year tradition, Ferrari has christened its new 2006 grand prix challenger the '248 F1'.

Since 2001, the scarlet single seater has followed the naming pattern 'F2001', and so on. The habit continued until last year, with the unsuccessful 'F2005' model.

At the 248's launch at Mugello (Italy) on Tuesday morning, moreover, Michael Schumacher appeared on track with his car bearing the number five, similarly ending a run since 2001 of showing off the world champion's number 1 honour.

For the record, the '248' designation is derived from F1's new engine formula -- '24' as in 2.4 litre capacity, and '8' meaning eight cylinders.
