    That's a real pity. The carrera GT was one of the best ever.
    1250? I thought they produced in excess of 2000!

    i found on wikipedia the reason it says:
    "Originally a production run of 1,500 cars was planned. However, Porsche announced in August 2005 that it would not continue production of the Carrera GT through to 2006, citing discontinuation was due to changing airbag regulations in the US. As of May 6, 2006, 1,270 GT's had been manufactured, with 604 being sold in the United States"

    It shows that they are failed to manufacture the sports cars because as the photos said. There is the only one company which is really producing the true sports cars which is Ferrari. Because they always keep the quality on priority then all other things.

    Can't believe they are discontinuing the Carrera GT. It will surely make the remaining ones worth more. Perhaps sightngs will even become more scarce on the street. Glad for the pics of the few I have.
