    Actually 99 hard tops and 99 Volantes made (100 hard tops if you count the 1 in Aston muesum).

    In the flesh the grill doesnt look as out of proportion as it tends to in photos. Actually quite stunning.

    Actually, only 99 DB AR1s were made. Only open-tops, thus the name - AR means American Roadster, as it was aimed at the american market only. The coupe you're talking about is called DB7 Vantage Zagato, and yes, there were 100 of them.
    BTW: The car at Barrett-Jackson was chassis no. 001.
