No, what we really need is punctuation

Nice car there speedy, it looks like you take pretty good care of it too. Cadillacs are amazing when they are clean.

Even better Eggnog but dont be hassled by it, its almost mandatory here

Well I wanted to take night shots of my car. But it started drizzling outside. So, I just messed around inside the car. Hand held, press up against the steering wheel. 10-22mm lens

    140mph speedo?

Surely that wee beasty can go beyond that. And a 7k rpm limiter...? Hmm... get that bitch tuned up

Great photography. You's got skills, boy. The first photo is awesome, love the 'rays' coming off the dials!

Many cars have speedo's that are under their top speed, for example my speedo 'only' goes to 155mph, while the car can go about 170 im told.

*6500RPM limiter if im not mistaken, again because it says "7000" doesnt mean it can rev that higher (with stock limiter), my car also reads 7000PRMs, but fuel cut off is around 6200PRMs.

Car is electronically limited to 130MPH. Without limiter these cars can go about 155mph. Also, I can swtich to metric which leaves the numbers and moves the needles. Yes 6,500 rpm is the redline. This is a V8. I don't need to spin the engine to 8900 RPM to make power. I've got 300HP at 6000rpm and 295 ft/lbs at 4400 rpm.

That's a shame Can't you get it delimited...? Here, people get that done to their German cars- particularly popular on the Mercedes SL55 AMG, Audi RS6 and BMW M3.

And as for the V8- I love a V8 that can spin high. Just me, I guess I like to hear an engine sing... although I understand that lazy American muscle is suited to low revs.

Lovely car, though. They sold it here for a while, and people just didn't take to it firstly killed by the fact is was LHD only, and then because it wasn't a known brand...

Why would you want to? The engine is tuned to make its peak power at 6000RPMs, going much higher isnt going to really do anyhting for you. To top things off youd have to adjust the shift points to use those higher RPMs. Hed see a MUCH bigger gain by doing mods like headers, heads/cams, and intake.

Yes, but even with all those mods, it'll still be limited to 130mph

He said that delimited it's closer to 155mph...
