    If you edit your post within a certain time of submitting the original post it doesn't show up as an edit.

    EDIT: I just did it there, but it doesn't say I edited it below.

    My 1000th post I think consisted of helping out UCP and posting pictures in the hide-out. What's the obsession with getting 1000 posts, especially when there's no real relevant contribution?

    Even henk4 gave some very nice pictures for HIS 10,000th post, along with all the frequent contributions he gives towards this website.

    Drop it now, and this thread might just die, but if you continue to make a big deal about getting to such an insignificant target, you're only provoking everyone more.
