Thats just tuition, there are plenty of other costs, and im guessing your parents are paying for your school? then ofcourse you dont see it as expensive.

UT (the other main public college) is like $9,000 or so... so even compared to the other big Texas public colleges its cheaper

and no, im getting a scholarship

nah, what ive said is, im going to play college football for (preferably) a big college (TCU, UT, A&M, Notre Dame, something like that) and i dont care if i have to be a walk on and pay for college, im going to be on the team

even if it sounds cocky, its what im going to do, i work my ass off every single day, and it shows, and the coaches see it, and hopefully in 3 years a college scout will notice

not its not, its about the same cost. almost exactly.

    http://media.collegepublisher.com/me...s/2p369452.jpg -tamu

http://www.utsystem.edu/news/tuition...comparison.htm -Ut and actually this says its cheaper. But for the upcoming semester it should be about tamu, i believe the legislature sets rates of colleges, so all major universities that receive funding from the state should cost about the same. but i might be off on that a bit.

But it still doesnt matter, its not cheap. Even if you talk about comparitively, cause then you should look at the same college's prices in the eighties, you will certaintly be surprised.

yeah i mean i would love to, but its not gonna happen on UT

i think i have a legitimate chance for A&M if i keep up my progress, but i would have to really be good to be on UT, so maybe I'll make UT my goal so that when i dont get on UT then A&M wouldnt be too far behind

can you imagine what it would have been like to be on this years UT team? i cant even fathom

scottie, my bad dude i could have sworn i checked a while ago and UT was a few thousand faster

and i love how this is the Texas thread

Yeah, well, suprisingly, (too many commas) I don't quite have the money to get me through 4 years of college, and just enough for 2.

I have refused every offer of money from my relatives and friends. Anyways, thanks for the comment. Just waiting for my chance to go see the Stallion at UP.

you have your priorities in perfect order man!!!

    NSX > College

i think i might have made it sound like college is cheap...i meant like, i woudnt mind having to pay for college if i got to play, i didnt mean like damn its cheap, i mean once you add up all the costs its gotta be over $50k at very least

    and whats UP?

Remember, no NSX here. Been gone for months.

Anyways, I'm not sure which college I'm even going to, just a community one now.

    BTW, UP is Unique Performance.
