Enzo Ferrari never died and crashed this Enzo. He fled the scene so nobody would know he was still alive.

Obviously the SLR won, it got away clean. Here's an interesting story, maybe the SLR spun the Enzo out and kept going. huh, huh. Probly not.

CBS Reports:
"Stefan Erikssen, 44, of Los Angeles, and a Swedish national, told authorities he was the owner of the destroyed Ferrari Enzo. Erikssen, whose blood-alcohol level was .09, claims he was the passenger at the time of the crash, and that the driver ran off after the crash, Sheriff’s Sgt. Philip Brooks said.
Erikssen told police that a German named Dietrich was driving the car. Police say the Ferrari may have been involved in a race with a Mercedes."

Well, there was a Ferrari Enzo racing a Mercedes-Benz SLR on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. I'd say anyone who was lucky enough to witness such a clash of titans.You know, before the crash and all.

...nobody deserves to get hurt. yeah, hes an idiot for driving drunk and hopefully hell get locked up. but to say he deserves to die or be permanently injured is too far. what about the idiots who put 600Hp in a street car?

Keep in mind the OWNER who claimed he was a "passenger", was drunk. The "driver" hasn't been found - to the best of my knowledge - and might well not be drunk.
Also keep in mind, that Ferrari did select those that it wanted to, but that didn't stop those people from selling the Enzos. The people that would have bought these second hand Enzos won't have been picked by Ferrari, but still then have the ability to drive them.
Secondly, from a reputable source, I've been told that 40 of the 400 Enzos have crashed, making this the 41st. And this is crashes, not totalled Enzos.
