    Wow, thanks nopassn those are great pics.

    Is it me or is this car not really a roadster but a barchetta? (i.e. no real roof at all)

    it's either or... like the 550 Barchetta, it doesn't have a roof - but it does have a removable cloth top...

    i feel old, as i usually do. lamborghini do excellent cars, they need to do more like the murchielago

    Yes. Instead of going the V10 directions, stay with the V12 and scissor doors.

    After all, aren't scissor doors one of the reasons people know about the Lamborghini?

    the gallardo is the v10, both versions of the murcielago have a v12 (amazing engine......i want one)

    lambo has said only the v12 models get the scissor doors
    on the roadster you have to have the roof down once you're going over 160kmh

    Yes, b/c the top isn't made for high speeds.

    But do remember not all Lamborghini had the scissor doors. I think it wasn't until the Countach that scissor doors came into effect for Lamborghini.
