    DVD+R DL 4X
    DVD+RW Rewriting 8X
    DVD-R 16X
    DVD-RW Rewriting 6X
    DVD-ROM Read 16x
    CD-R 48X
    CD-RW 24X
    CD-ROM Read 48X

It's pretty good, I've had no drama's. Can't vouch for CD R/RW though, I use my Liteon 52x-32x-52x CDRW Burner for that, but it's been great as well
and reliability ? Does it "slip" after a while making those weird noises or not ?

    a short description of it:
you insert the cd, it needs to speed up but the cd never gets upto speed properly and you hear a sound similar of a slipping belt. This problem comes back every time it needs to speed up nd the drive isn't normally usable. It's kinda hard how to describe but i'll make a videoclip of it tomorrowmorning.

No, it just goes to speed and holds it, no slipping problem.

A couple reasons...at first I wasn't planning to upgrade my monitor so due to that extra cost I chose the 7600GT which is an excellent card for the money, lots of positive reviews. Since my mobo is SLI I will add another 7600 later as the price falls on them.

There's an excellent comparo test here of evga and Ati cards.

If you plan on playing any really graphics intense games like Oblivion or Quake 4, the ATI X1800XT and X1900XT works the best

I don't plan to...and the Ati counterpart to the 7600GT is the XT1600XT, not the 1800 or 1900.
