Slick - Primus, Optus and most others are just reselling Telstra's wholesale service - ii Net are the only ones I know of that are installing their own hardwear (DSLAMs) in exchanges and just renting the ULL (the copper cable with no dial tone).

Telstra wants you to pay for its network (so it doesnt have to) pair gain can cope with the speed (well it does at my place).

    How do I get a 100Gb/s link?

Good afternoon (I hope) my fellow Aussie UCPers.

Now as I correctly understand, us Brits lag quite a fair bit behind you guys in... Neighbours. I dont actually watch the programme myself, but my sister does. Any major storylines that she should look forward to that you have already seen? I think the latest happening here was something about Paul being threatened again, and Max's wife telling him that shes ill? Sorry if that means nothing to you, but thats what I gathered from a conversation.....

thanks guys, I might even use some of this stuff against her when she is especially irritating... "if you dont leave me alone Ill tell you when [insert name] dies/runs away/goes into coma.... oops!"

If they are underground chances are they might not have it, Optus has some of there own infrastructure but it's all with the power lines No power lines here. But if they won't me to pay to much or anything and the deal goes through I'll beg them to help me

Old Harold and Lou are the only too i can remember Didn't Harold die?

I got the Tail-Shaft done just before. I should be over the moon and i guess i am but 1 thing only still shits and confuesses me, The play in the Tail-shaft seems to be there still, When sticking it into R or D it still gives a little jolt. But take offs are smooth no unbalence feeling very smooth into all gears more then before just he told me, He said the old Tail-shaft was cracked and would affect 1st and 2nd gear changes from time to time, He was right. And it cost me $6 extra lol.
Also got a price on kings lowered springs there to, Fitted and supplied for $370. Lower it about 35mm. I would love to go 60mm but that might be a little to much without changing the shocks and getting a adjustable pan hard rod.
It was funny watching them fit my tail-shaft, they are drive shaft specialist Took them 4 tail-shafts to get the right one I was almost about to yell out you should have used the tape measure from the bloody start
All thats left now is Rear tyres, And then sit back and wait for June for the rest.

We have primus, adam internet doing the same thing in Adelaide, installing their own hardware and leasing the copper. Cant work out why Telstra doesnt install a Cmux panel in the rim as that has the bandwidth to handle broadband, the normal pots panels only supply 28.8k as the 8 meg is shared between 480 subsriber lines .

Dont know the price of the 100gig service, wouldnt be cheap though

Might that jolt be tired engine mounts or likewise g'box? (just guessing)

I'm no expert but have often heard reference to the importance of retaining (or renewing) those special Holden-OE 'voided' bushes in the trailing arms, as aftermarket replacements induce twitchyness. Apparently burnouts quicky destroy these bushes

Driveshaft specialists .. but tapemeasure idiots I'm surprised there actually are 4 non-interchangable shaft specs for VP sedans - or even the VN-VR V6 SWB range (including IRS)

35mm is a big drop in height, i'd definately consider the new shocks. Also, check the current ride height, and a)make sure it drops as much as they say it drops and b) dont get the 60mm springs if youve got a 150mm ride height, as under 100mm is illegal

"Normal" TV streaming takes 1.6Mb/s, fastest Telstra sells is 1.5Mb/s

Telstra is a 49% share holder in Foxtel - who you have to pay to watch TV close to how you would like it.

I can't imagine why Telstra won't sell faster srvices.......

Actually after a second drive and i removed the change from the lighter all seems fine now.
I have done 1 or 2 burnouts not a massive one I'm not into the 20 sec thing maybe a quick little 3 sec one.
I had the upper control arm bushes done for RWC. Where abouts is the trailing arm.
I find it strange I'm not 100% sure but almost 100% sure that all the VN's to VS non irs use the same tail-shafts.
I have been wondering if the VS ecotec engine will drop into my car with my tranny easy?. No-one knows that engine with my tranny would give that engine the real go it always missed with the electronic 4 speed.

Ground clearance is 143mm, Lower then i thought i wonder if thats right?. So i will be right on the limit of legal height. If i get Kings springs they have a life time warranty against sagging.
I would like to grab a full FE2 i'll look around and some prices for them.
