I do very much think that Rockefella is screwing with the photography contest. Please stop, you were a good moderator until recently.

Jumping to conclusions eh? Let me explain what I've done in this thread.

MP posted this thread titled: Auto Photo Comp 65, so I edited the title into the format of the prior competition weeks. The name of the Automotive Photography Threads have been in the format of 'Comp # Weekly Automotive Photo Contest' which I changed MP's title to. Second, MP put, "you know what to do", which I figured was unprofessional and even PM'ed colin about, because that resulted in the demise of the Chop comp. (Bad management and loss in structure)

If you're interested, here is the PM

People started doing that w/ the chop comp and it's turned to shit, so I don't want the same happening to the picture comps.
    And his reply:

Finally, I try to keep a good sense of humor on this forum; therefore, I submitted a JOKE picture of an Enzo I mocked up in Paint, that took 2 min. I never intended for it to go into the voting thread, and I DID NOT vote for myself. I voted for SpeedRacer's pic of the DB9, but sadly, MP didn't tick the public voting option so you can not check who people voted for.

To put the nail in the coffin, I've removed myself from the voting thread and have asked the 2 anonymous users who voted for my picture to post who they would like to change their vote for, seeing as my picture is illegal in that competition.

Wouter, this guy is right, just take away my moderator status immediately.

Hmmm....I remember a while ago you edited some comp's voting thread so that your entry shows as inline image and others, links.

    This thread: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...ad.php?t=20303

Although I was wrong in what I did, it's different than what you've explained.
Most of the people had their entries resized to official inline image entry, but since mine had to be in high-res (otherwise it'd look bad) I just attached a thumbnail of my entry.

It WAS wrong to edit the thread, but I just figured that since I wasn't breaking the rules by forgetting to resize but intending on leaving it that size, the thumbnail would be o.k. I made up for my error in judgement by giving everyone in the voting 1 of my votes, or something like that.

EDIT: wrong thread, it was this one.

    http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/forum...ad.php?t=22038

Disregard what I've stated above. IIRC, I was the only one w/ a chop that complied w/ 800 x 600 inline image restraints, so I put [img] tags around my picture. It was unfair, so I did the above, by giving everyone a vote. We all make mistakes, and I fessed up and apologized.

just for confirmation, it was me who renamed the comp to "Automotive photography competition #" to give the photo comps a more formal structure; as it is the same way that the general photo comp is named.
