i managed to get some laps in yesterday to get that time, have been super busy with racing recently, so i am going to continue the trend of having nearly 2 weeks for competitions, give everyone a bit more time,

Challenge 3.4 will end on Sunday 16th at midnight in respective areas

give me a while to think of a challenge though...

any ideas fellas as to what you want this time?

i would really like to run a race on the Nurburgring again, but am not sure what? wouldn't mind a race on "Normal" tyres either, but that would require a relaxing of the "Softest tyres available" rule

Nurburgring with a standard 2CV and try to get under 20minutes?

I would like the nurburgring, with a proper handling car, like the M3/M3 CSL/M3GTR or a mercedes 190E 2.5 EVO II if that car is in the arcade mode. Something like that I would prefer.

as long as you have those cars in your garage in GT mode, then they will be available for racing in Arcade mode, the M3 should be standarad in arcade most but i think the rest you have to own...

alright i have narrowed it down to a couple of cars that people can think about, Toyota MR2 or BMW M3 CSL (my final decision hasn't been made yet though)

the Merc is a race car and i don't want another race car yet

    - the MR2 is light and nimble, not real quick but loads of fun

    - the M3 CSL is a serious road/race car and needs a little respect, but should put down a punishing time!!!

I wouldnt mind the MR2 if its the MkII, really liked that car in old games

    M3 CSL is cool too

Dont go for the race car as you said, a bit of norm driving!

As goes for tyres, I would personally like to stick to SS tyres around the Nurb, I havent got time to try and race around in normal tyres at the moment....

I should add its your call though!!

wtf? I entered my time, it was in the 1,21's. It was a week early, but it still counts! Do you need photographic proof for all times submitted or what?

Kinda curious, I hung it all together quite nicely and pulled quite the lap and it sucks to notice that it hasn't at least been recognized.

    And, I wouldn't mind a mk.1 MR2, perhaps a Supercharger?

I do sincerely apologise dude, but I dont seem to have a message from you. I dont delete the sent times until a week after theyve been put up, so I dunno what happened to it. If you send me your time again, I can put it in!

I do have to admit, it's fun to see that little guy steering and shifting in his MR2...

Anyone got a time yet? I've got 8'47.579 after 3 runs. Have to get use to the track and the car, but I don't think I'll get it under 8'40 (you guys probably will )

I did 2runs with the CSL as well, wich is real fast, driving the CSL and then the MR2 didn't do good at my first round, cause I was braking to hard...

CAS - you are allowed full quicktune you know so you should have 169hp, and weigh 882kg... should bring your time down quite a bit

just ran 4 laps, ballsed up lap 1, 8'05 for lap 2, ballsed up lap 3, and broke the 8 minute barrier on lap 4, this car is much, much better than i expected on the N'Ring

I've got 8'41 something, but didn't know we were allowed to quicktune the car, so will do that later.

I have to admit, its a fun car to drive on the ring.

    7.44 with supersoft tires??

im only 10 seconds slower with the least grippy gt4 wheels (comfort tires)

    you need some ring training

edit, just checked, with S3 tires, my best is 7.08

Its was with sport tires medium. And did only do 2 laps...

But I do admit that I don't put great times in the game.
