    The most futuristic production car

Though many companies have tried to relay the message that a concept car is purely a design study for a future variable, almost all of them have gone down the drains. Therefore I wish to make a post on what you consider to be the most futuristic looking car to date, that has gone into production. There are rules to this exception.

    1. A retro design is not futuristic, as it relays the past, and not the future (aka, Mustang, HHR)
    2. A car that is in limited production is not a futuristic car.

That's it. My Vote goes to the 2006 Honda Civic Si.

I was going to say that too. Definitely the new Civic without question. Reminds me of some star-treck character

The new Civic line definately ranks pretty high. Citroen seems to be a contender too, with most of their models. However, I'm not too sure because I've only seen 2 modern citroen's in the states.

Yes the Citroen C4 (both coupe and sedan) is very futuristic looking, more than the Civic imo.

I would also say the TT when it was first released, back in the days when we thought evrything in the future was round, oval and smooth.

The Civic has lots of little futuristic details applied to a fairly mundane design.

Triangular tail pipes, not really that difficult to achieve, but so far no one else has done it yet, for whatever reason.
    Thanks for all the fish

I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

    Goddess...

Yes, C4 just proves how futuristic Citroen can be...but still the Citroen DS was far ahead, in its time.
Civic is not that futuristic, except for details. Profile, for instance, is absolutely mainstream. Even Mégane does it better...no?

Well, there is nothing futuristic about 2006 Civic IMHO. It is more like "one step forward, two steps backward" kinda car...

I'd almost agree with henk4 opinion about DS, but my vote for most futuristic car EVER goes to Lamborghini Countach, stunning piece of design for early 1970s.

For comparison, here is an example of ordinary cars from 1970s.
