    Civic Hatchback (Revell)

Not the most exciting car but this Revell kit has a lot of detail and so far has been a smooth build. Started it a couple of days ago.

It can be built either stock or custom. I picked stock appearance. It's been so simple, maybe I'll do a second one custom.

Sure the detail may be great and all, but how does a civic hatchback look on the shelf next to a model of a nice car? Maybe a tad out of place methinks. Money not well spent IMO.

I think we have a very special name for the "custom" version.

Are you making the stock stock or the stock Type-R?

It's going to be more of a stock Type-R. Intake and exhaust (headers) are hi-performance but the body is stock.

Nice. The EK's gotta be the best looking Civic Type-R, the new one looks like an easter egg to be frank.

You made the right choice. I don't think I've ever seen an attractive custom Civic.

Keeping it stock looks so much better especially with the Type R parts than the riced one. The Civic Type R is great IMO. The new one just needs a new color. Yellow doesn't suit it.

I agree, although Yellow with Black stripes would perfectly showcase its killer bee heritage.

I think it'd look really good in Silver or Racing White.

nice stuff, I am surprised to see a non-curbsized Revell kit..

I was pleasantly surprised with the detail and proper fit of this kit. A very straight forward build.
