I'm also a big fan of this car, but the only other picture I have found is the picture attached. It is from the book 'Famous Custom and show cars' by George Barris and Jack Scagnetti. Jack Scagnetti has a website I believe.

Mercury Johnny Cougar
Mercury Discotheque.
That last one's quite nice.

thanks guys i had not seen the barris book photo before.that will help with some pillar angles i was not certain of.still no luck on powertrain info but i am now sacrificing a mach 1 for the roof section,sorry mustang people.thanks for the help folks.cheers.motorbreath.
