I KNEW I recognised that Alizee girl from somewhere, and it's finally dawned on me! It was about 4 or 5 years ago IIRC that she had a minor chart hit with 'Moi Lolita', a catchy little pop-tune that was more famous for its music video than anything else.

I remember seeing it back then and thinking to myself "Christ, that's just perverted filth! How did they get away with that!!!"

Now 5 years later after watching it again my reaction is "Christ, it's still filth and I still can't believe they got away with it!!!"

The whole "young" age thing is a relatively modern invention.
BUT based on sound reasoning as back then it was all arranged and women had no rights. Modern society wishes women to be free to make their own choices and so introduced an age of consent to TRY to provide protection from exploitation until they were old enought o make their own choices. All to the good.

If someone cannot look at a young person withotu inappropriate feelings then that person needs treatment not necessarily teh whoel society restricted !!!!
