    OK, Holland 2 - 1 Mexico

I started watching from the second half and missed a minute before both Neth goals, does anyone have footage? I missed the first half because I wasn't expecting the channel to cover any international matches, and was outside talking to my friend. I switched on the TV by chance.

I can't understand why Holland could not control the pace of the game after they were in the lead. They were going neck to neck with Mexico like it was 1-1. In the 80th something minute all Babel had to do is feint and lob it over the goalkeeper when the defended stopped Kuyt. I did that last night but because of my angle it hit the post and bounced off. I don't think anybody would doubt that the best thing is to contain it by keeping the game slow and frustrating.

It'd be interesting to see Brazil and Argentina to meet up, or Britain and Brazil, rooting for Britain (to see how far they'll reach)
    It should be entertaining

I'm certainly not English but you should type England instead of Britain.

Matra, I couldn't agree more. During the 2006 World Cup... every English pundit will be saying "England won the World Cup in 1966" etc... England won the World Cup 40 YEARS AGO! Get over it, Englsh Fans!

Simply because he has had a poor season this year. He was already on a bit of a downward curve when he came to England (I suspect Tottenham signed him as much for marketability than for his abilities), and this season he has looked a shadow of his former self and has struggled to get a place in the Spurs midfield.

I hate that attitude of the English - "they're gonna do it so why shouldnt we?" Then why complain about it in the first place!!!!! Utter nonsense.

You guys seemed to have forgotten England 6 - 0 Jamaica
with a Crouch hat-trick! Who would have thought!!!!

    Yes I do sir

Marco van Basten, dutch head-coach, didn't like the style of Davids (he's a real 'cardcollector') and he thought that the Netherlands has way better midfielders...

What I really don't understand why that idiot does include Danny Landzaat who playes for the dutch runner-up AZ, instead of Italian champion Ac Milan...
