    Yes I do sir

Marco van Basten, dutch head-coach, didn't like the style of Davids (he's a real 'cardcollector') and he thought that the Netherlands has way better midfielders...

What I really don't understand why that idiot does include Danny Landzaat who playes for the dutch runner-up AZ, instead of Italian champion Ac Milan's attacking midfielder Clarence Seedorf...

A lot of coaches are being stupid this year

Ballack has spared no time in critisizing Germany's coach for putting just two people in defence at the expense of midfield and attack, saying he's an idiot trying to manage a team from across the ocean.

Two major pieces of World Cup injury news this evening.

Firstly, Endland's Wayne Rooney has been given the all clear to return to training with the England squad in Germany. It now seems likely that he will recover from his broken foot in time to play at least some part in this year's tournament. Brilliant news for England and for football in general, as Rooney definitely has the potential to be the biggest star of the World Cup.

Secondly there was the very sad news from the French camp that striker Djibril Cisse has suffered a very bad fracture of his lower leg in a friendly against China just 2 days before the start of the WC. It seems he's broken it in exactly the same place as he suffered a horrific break playing for Liverpool against Blackburn Rovers a couple of years ago. Disappointing for France, and a real personal tragedy for Cisse as he will now miss the World Cup, and he was in the process of trying to get a move back to France with Marseille. It now seems that that move will fall through and his career will be left up in the air.

I throughly enjoyed France vs China. Best match to laugh at in years.

Own goal? Goalie coming out to quarter pitch? French players attacking Chinese like hawks? Zidane catching the hand of the right-wing-defender and bringing him down?

    Great game

EDIT: Egyptian commentary was awesome too.

For some reason I'm also cheering for Australia. They have a tough group though.

For the championship I'm expecting Czech Republic, Portugal, and of course Brazil to be the strongest teams.

He's in my top 5 for the oldies list. Even in the last few years if he wanted to he could run, tackle and score. He may have been arrogant at times, but he was a very cool player.

Czech Rep. and Portugal? Really those are going to fail so hard...

My tips for this WC? Australia, Cote d'Ivoire, Brazil and Germany.
