My vote goes to the rex. They're very good cars for their price.

Just off-topic here...you need Satellite radio for leather? Thats completely ****ing retarded.
Sometimes manfacturers make the optional extras available in groups, which is really annoying because if you only want one of the options you have to pay for all the others that you don't need as well.Originally Posted by Spastik_Roach

Visca Catalunya!
GTI and get a DSG gearbox!
If you have no pratice with the manual, just ask for a DSG a few more bucks but it's well worth it

I said WRX earlier because I'd get that with manual. But, if you want the convenience of auto and quickness and economy of a manual go DSG.
I recently test drove the Jetta GLI w/ DSG and came away very impressed. If I get GTI/GLI, I know it's for the DSG. It's simply GREAT; blips the throttle on downshifts to match revs and the shifts are imperceptible in full auto mode. In manual mode it'll hold gears to redline like a manual, not sure if it shifts if you bump the limiter, didn't get to try that.
Overall, the mk5 Golf/Jetta are super refined for the class, maybe too refined for an fun runabout...
