    CAmera Help

    Hi,

    Just been out on beack to take some snaps. I think i got some sand in the lens, as it is slow to come out, and dosent display a picture.

    One problem is its my mothers Camera, and dont wat to tell her that i have f'ed it already.

    Was bought last weekend. Its an Olympus X-715.

    HELP !!

    Bring it to a camera store to see if they can clean it. My store's policy is return it to the manufactorer and let them do the work, see what the stores around you say tho.

    What the hell... it just torned back on and seems fine. But slow on the lens getting out.

    Seems my battery is pretty low , maybe that caused it?

    And Lagoda, bloody hell i wish i could throw it away! But the pics it takes arent too bad. And its not mine either.

    The battery being low could be a part of the cause, charge it or put new ones in.

    Probably take back to shop anyways, only cought it 8 days ago. Think they will replace it ?

    Yup... it turns on fine, and takes a pic (just) , but theres no zoom... so il rant and moan that my zoom dont work, they cant say no we wont take it..only got it last saturday

    what ISO was that shot at? (just a sidenote)

    xcould be the sand got lodged in between the lens housing so it grinds on it when it comes out.

    I honestly dont have a clue, its just a simple Point and shoot.
