    Ad. Competition!

Anybody out there think that they have what it takes to make it in the tough-as nails, backbiting world of automotive advertising artists! Submit your work on this thread, and the winner will be picked by ME, A TOTAL NOBODY,! and you'll win ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Here's what I've come up with to get you started:

    ..Eh?

Set a time limit. But a fair one because it's obvious you've had a head start.
And you might want to attach those pictures Sir, not everybody can see them.

    Sure... two weeks.

What is it today... 16th? We'll make the deadline the 30th of June... assuming June has 30 days.

And of course I'm not eligible for victory. I'll even take votes, if anybody presents them.

By the way, what's the best way to post images from my own computer?

When you click "Post reply", there's a "manage attachments" feature below. Press it, select your file, and wala.

    I'll give that a go.

    It Worked! Cheers!

    EDIT: Removed racially offensive ad.

Ok, sorry about that. It's no longer offensive.

Admittedly that first and second ones were quite funny, didn't quite get the third. I normally piss-take on German cars (BMW), but in text.

Take a look at the headlight projector on the first of the new SL's and tell me if it doesn't look like the muzzle of the ME-109's cowl-mounted cannons. MB caught some flack for that one, and I think eventually changed the headlights.

No, the second isn't offensive at all. This competition and your ads are bullshit.
I'm going to eat breakfast. And then I'm going to change the world.

yeah, and give size requirments to the ads as well.

And are they judged on humor? or effectiveness? And are we allowed only one entry, or can we do multiple entries such as a whole campaign for example?

I have no idea how to tell what size these things are. I'm not a computer person, nor am I the olympic committee. You decide on a maximum size, Scottie, and I'll back up your decision with all this dubious arbitrary power I've suddenly inherited.

Tell ya what. They'll be judged on the quality and effectiveness of the humor presented by the ad. I'll take votes either on this thread, or sent to me via the private message thing(y). On the thirtieth, I'll don my robe and powdered wig and tally the votes for the winner, who will then recieve a prize package containing and consisting of nothing.

In the event of a tie, that Matt guy will hold the tie-breaking vote.
The comptetion is for the best ad, not the best artist, and so anybody
can make as many as they want. No, wait, let's put the cap at 20. No
more than 20 entries per contestant.
