i actually have a really steep driveway, and it will graunch the front bumper if i go up or down it too quick, but other than that, if i take it fairly slowly i dont have a problem...Originally Posted by SlickHolden
I don't know anything about these Falcons. I assume since it has a straight 6 that it's a RWD car?
If it is a RWD car you should have looked for a manual one if they made any manual ones.
Real cars are not FWD.
FWD at it's best -

why? you don't need a manual in a cruiser/city car.
Andreas Preuninger, Manager of Porsche High Performance Cars: "Grandmas can use paddles. They aren't challenging."
Falcons are RWD and have a straight six 4.0 litre engine. And Falcons with manual transmission are almost as rare as hens teeth - there's a few around, but not many. As clutch-monkey said, manual transmission isn't really needed in a cruiser/city car anyway. I'll trade off the occasional fun I get with a manual transmission on a tight twisty road for the convenience of not having to work the clutch in heavy traffic.

You just learn yeah how to live with it and what might hurt it, It's worth it they look greatOriginally Posted by shockwaveracing

indeed, i have a few scrapes under the front bumper from going a tad to fast up/down it but i can live with it... and about the manual gearboxes, i would kill for one, the auto is awful especially with the SUPER long diff ratio, which when stock is 3.2:1 i changed mine to an LSD with a 3.73:1 much nicer, but still not as good as me having a manual, will be installed soon enough...Originally Posted by SlickHolden
My brother stuck a XR LSD and 5 speed in his EF Ghia, He was bouncing off the rev limiter pretty easy to.
I would love a LSD now
