I remember Rivaldo did the same during previous world cup against Turkey...turkish player passed him the ball for a corner kick and he pretended that the ball hit him in the face... he apologized later in press conference...

I agree it wasnt the best way to pass the ball to Rivaldo... but I guess the player like Rivaldo doesnt need to fake this... he should be well aware of that this is a world cup and there are 20 cameras around...

Stuff like this makes football look bad. IMHO every situation should be reviewed after the game and EVERY case of acting should result in a ban of the player. Grown men falling and crying for no obvious reason is NOT what the most popular sport in the world should be about.
