    I have more info.

    It was a prototipe entered by BMW on the 1970 Tour of Corsica (which then still allowed prototypes) driven by Rauno Aaltonen. It was basically a 2002 with modified front end to accept the brand's 2.8-litre straight six. With 275bhp and 960kg it looked promising but after several punctures they ran out of tyres.
