    Tuning Carby and Dissy

Years ago I had this beautiful scientific instrument, a vacuum gauge, it was about 6" in dia', every tune up I did with it was absolutely spot on, had it for years until some smart arse took a fancy to it, never did get a replacement, anyhow this is what you do, get hold of a decent vacuum gauge, not the silly little things that go in your dashboard, connect your instrument to the inlet manifold, idle the motor, not too fast or too slow, adjust carby till you get the highest reading and starts to quiver, back off slighly till highest reading and no quiver, do the same with the dissy, I defy any workshop that says your motor is not spot on.
    Aussie for the quarter finals..!

Its a shame EFI engines have dominated the automotive industry for the last 20 years.
