hello everyone, I have a test soon in mechanical engineering, and we have a shocker of a lecturer, leaves 20 minutes into the class and so on and so forth. One question, if you may, what is the function of the impeller hub on a torque converter? The net doesnt explain too much unfortunately. Any help would be appreciated, thankyou in advance.

The impellor is the set of blades connected to the engine, usually reffered to as the pump.
