Here is The new Lotus Esprit.

This reminds me of when the Maserati Quattroporte sketch was shown. The sad part about that one was that the real car didn't look anything like that sketch. I hope the production Esprit doesn't stray far from this sketch.

well, judging from that sketch it's still hard to know how it will look.
I love the last Esprits and I certainly don't like the new Europa. So I hope this will surprise me.

03 would still be quite accurate as it would take a few years to develop the car. However, I doubt that the Esprit will look anything like this. I suspect Lotus will value a family face to their vehicles so more elements representing the Elise and Europa S would be necessary to do this. Don't quote me on that however

The front looks a bit like a combination of Gallardo and DB9 or the new XKR, which means I absolutely adore it.

The basic shape is down pat, but the over all style of the car is lacking from the real thing. Like, ok, the vents are takin straight off an Elise, and it will not work out. So I'm telling you that it's close, but no cigar.

If you are referring to the Computerized Chop, then yes.

But if he is referring to the sketch, it is one persons, likely the designers sketcgh, of the car in question, manipulated on photoshop to contain a slight realism.
