I have drank before you must realize, but just in small amounts. I have universalyl hated every alcoholic drink I've had barring say Baileys and Kaluha which I feel would be superior if they lacked alcohol.

And yes, Kitdy, you don't own a car, so stfu.

and fiset - It might be class leading, but its still a failwheel drive econobox.
It isn't class leading - look no further than the Accord and Camry for class leading. Look at sales. Look at reviews. The Slobalt lags behind it's Japanese competition.

He is lying cg1990. I happen to know Kitdy's age and it is less than the number of digits a three-toed sloth has. He might claim to be older than you, but rest assured that his mental age (and IQ) are just starting to breach the double digits.

On a more serious note; Kitdy aren't you forgetting you drive a ShitiGolf?

It isn't competing with either the Camry or the Accord. It competes with the Civic. And a similarly equipped Civic is much, much more expensive.

Slobalt LS's are selling for $9,999 for Christ sake.

I can bicycle, that's for sure.

I dunno why I said Camry and Accord. I am high on PCP again.

Slobalt maybe cheaper, but do you wanna tread down the path of it being better than those two Japanese cars?

Why would it be better than the Accord/Camry? Of course it isn't, the Malibu competes with them, not the Slobalt.

As for Slo vs. Civic, build/overall quality is obviously better in the Civic, but you pay for it. I don't think there are a lot of better deals than a Slo for the price.

Again, $9,999 for a brand new 2009 Slo LS? Phuck yes.

I just visited Honda Canada's website:

"2009 Civic Sedan from $16,990" and "2009 Civic Coupe from $17,190"

    Wait wat.

The base Civic DX and the Slo LS are similarly equipped. I ain't spending 7 grands more on a Civic because it's Japanese and so über and better and omgitsanhondaitcantbekilledomgomg.

Fiz, you are not gonna walk of the lot of a Honda dealership paying 17k for a Civic - not now.

Also, were GM not in the middle of bankruptcy and we in the middle of the economic crisis you'd be paying a lot more for the Cobalt which MSRP is $15,325 - still considerably cheaper than the Civic but I doubt (I hate to say this for a bread and butter car) you are getting as good a "driver's car" (ugh) in the Cobalt as opposed to the Civic.

Then again, I have not driven either and reserve the right to be wrong. My point is this: when the auto critics compare econoboxes, even factoring in price - it's not the Cobalt that they select - it's the Civic and Corolla.
