    It has a 2-speed gearbox, although you can hit 70mph in first, and no doubt pull away easily enough in 2nd. I doubt people will have to shift much

    Does anyone know what it will cost? I really hope that this will do well, but even if it doesn't I think it is a very big step in the right direction.

    If I had to venture a guess, I'd say in the 75k range, but that's pulled straight out of my arse so I'm probably wrong.

    Electric motors don't have a "neutral" nor do they need to idle. So the gears are reverse, and 2 forward gears. They say on the website that you can just leave it in second if you want with zero issues. First is just a higher ration for better all-out acceleration.

    Sounds cool, I like the corp. philosophy, too. If its all carbon fiber, its probably a little out of my price range!
